Safe and Vital Living Environment for Moroccan Youth

SOS Children’s Villages in Morocco is our direct partner, where we work with both the headquarters and the local SOS Children’s Village. Here, children find a home when they don’t have parents. Here we share a new update on this wonderful project.

In 2023, the Vebego Foundation made a financial contribution to SOS Children’s Villages in El Jadida, Morocco. This contribution has had a significant impact on the well-being of 67 children and young people, by ensuring a hygienic, safe and vital living environment for them.

The projects carried out, which started in September 2023 and were recently completed, include:

• Complete interior renovation of 4 family homes.
• Restoration and planting of the garden, aiming to limit the view of the neighbourhood for more safety and privacy.
• Installation of a new access port for the SOS Children’s Village.
• Renewal of the fencing on the outside of the SOS Children’s Village.

Thanks to the contribution of the Vebego Foundation, a second donor could also be attracted, who provided the funding to renovate the sports fields. These sports fields have now also been completed, allowing the children and young people in SOS Children’s Villages in El Jadida to enjoy a safe and stimulating environment.

The collaboration between the Vebego Foundation and SOS Children’s Villages has a significant and positive impact on the lives of these children and young people in Morocco!
