Let’s introduce: Chantal Moerenhout, Board Member Belgium

The Vebego Foundation is pleased to welcome Chantal Moerenhout as a member of the Belgian Board. With an impressive 12-year track record at Care in Belgium as Sales Manager, where she was responsible not only for sales but also for all CSR activities, Chantal brings a strong background in social responsibility to her new role.

Chantal, who gets her drive and adrenaline from sales, gets satisfaction from her involvement in CSR initiatives. Apart from her work, in her free time she enjoys travelling, making culinary discoveries and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She is also a buddy for an underprivileged lady in Antwerp, in cooperation with VZW ArmenTeKort.

“I am proud, enthusiastic and honoured to be able to put the Vebego Foundation even more on the map in Belgium among colleagues, clients and potential partners with the same values and standards as the Foundation,” says Chantal, underlining her commitment to the Foundation’s mission.

Chantal also acknowledges Care’s CSR and impact efforts, but stresses that there is always room for improvement and expansion of these efforts. She names Care’s existing partnerships, such as Made Blue, Plan International, Feestvarken and Netwerk tegen Armoede, as examples of successful partnerships that have existed for years.

With her warm invitation, Chantal calls on her colleagues to take part in various activities, believing it will bring great satisfaction.

Her enthusiasm and commitment to social responsibility make Chantal a valuable addition to the Vebego Foundation Board in Belgium. In the next newsletter, we will introduce you to some of the other board members.
