Change of management at the Vebego Foundation

It is with gratitude that we announce that Suzanne Goedmakers will leave as Chair of the Vebego Foundation at the end of 2023. In her place, we are excited to welcome Rob Westerlaken! We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Suzanne for her tireless commitment and valuable contributions over the past nine years or so and look forward to a successful start with Rob.

Since its establishment in 2005, the Vebego Foundation has been an independent foundation affiliated with Vebego International. The foundation is not only active in the Netherlands, but also further afield. In fact, with recent appointments, we are looking to expand our influence to Germany and Switzerland. We would like to introduce one of our new board members in Switzerland: Shirley Michael.

“My name is Shirley Michael and I have been working as Social Media & Communications Manager for Vebego for almost three years. I was born and raised in Switzerland, with a short, one-year stay in the desert of South Utah (USA). In my free time, I have a slight obsession with sharks and live music. So when I’m not working, you can probably find me at a concert or travelling.

I am very pleased to have the opportunity to be a part of the Vebego Foundation board. People often think that Switzerland is such a rich country, but we have a lot of people who are struggling and need help. That’s why I’d like to give something back and make a difference to people in Switzerland who are less fortunate. I look forward to being able to create things that will hopefully benefit many people.”

We are delighted with these new developments and look forward to a joint commitment to positive impact, both nationally and internationally.
