Unforgettable Dance Adventure at the Olympic Stadium in Athens for the Girls of X-Future

Partly thanks to the support of the Vebego Foundation, the dance group X-Future was recently able to make an unforgettable trip to Athens for an important dance competition. Colleague Neera submitted the request for funding in My Commitment, My Project. They started their adventure on a Friday evening when they arrived at their hotel in the Greek capital after a long journey.

Saturday started with a cultural tour to the Acropolis, one of Athens’ most impressive and historic sights. The girls were in awe of the ancient site and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing experience. After their visit to the Acropolis, they had time to shop and try the delicious local food. The day ended with a final training session and a nice atmospheric dinner, where they discussed their strategy for the competition.

On Sunday, the time had finally come. After a relaxed morning in and around the hotel, the dancers and their choreographers made their way to the Olympic Stadium. The tension was palpable as they prepared to take to the stage. X-Future gave a great performance, but sadly the group didn’t win any prizes. Despite the disappointment, the girls look back on a fantastic experience and were proud of their achievements, especially considering the strong competition at a high level.

The trip to Athens was a unique opportunity for the girls of X-Future. Thanks to the donation from the Vebego Foundation, the dancers could enjoy delicious meals and transport was excellently arranged. This contribution not only made the adventure possible, but ensured that this adventure will forever remain a cherished memory for X-Future.
