Join Us for Jeugdvakantieland 2024 in Ahoy Rotterdam

From 12 to 23 August, Ahoy Rotterdam will be transformed into a giant playground for Jeugdvakantieland, a special event for children. This annual event, celebrating its 66th edition, is a fantastic day of fun and adventure for children and adolescents who, for one reason or another, are unable to enjoy a holiday.

This year, the Vebego Foundation, together with Sam& voor alle kinderen, will create a shared square within Jeugdvakantieland. There will be a variety of activities in this space, not only to entertain the children, but also to raise awareness of important social issues. We are calling on all of our colleagues at Vebego to come and help us during this very special event. Your commitment can make a world of difference for these children!

Activities at Sam& Plein
In the Sam& voor alle kinderen square, visitors can take part in a wide range of activities:

• Help pack birthday boxes for Stichting Jarige Job [Foundation that provides birthday presents to poor children]
• Sport and culture clinic by the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur [Youth Fund for Sport & Culture] (Rotterdam)
• VR Experience Poverty Stress by the Nationaal Fonds Kinderhulp [National Children’s Aid Fund]
• Pimp your bike or action with Sam& voor alle kinderen
• Sam& voor alle kinderen photobooth

The low entrance fees make it possible for everyone to enjoy Jeugdvakantieland and they can continue to organise this unique event every year. With a Rotterdam Pass you will only have to pay 2 euros, in all other cases 10 euros per person.

In addition to these activities, a cosy living room will be created where visitors can relax and have personal chats. This is also where parents can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea here and directly request help from Sam& voor alle kinderen.
